1. License

Nexxus is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. You are granted a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Use Nexxus for any lawful purpose
• Install Nexxus on any number of devices you own or control

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Nexxus software except as permitted by applicable law.

2. No Warranty

Nexxus is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of the software.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Nexxus to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems, networks, or data you do not own
• Distribute malware, ransomware, or other malicious software
• Engage in any activity that infringes the rights of others

Nexxus is built for privacy and security. Using it to harm others violates the spirit and letter of these terms.

4. The Nexxus Website

The Nexxus website is provided for informational purposes. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the website at any time. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on website content.

5. Third-Party Content

Nexxus may allow you to access third-party websites and content. We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for any third-party content you access through the Nexxus browser.

6. Encryption & Security Tools

Nexxus includes strong cryptographic tools (AES-256, ChaCha20, Argon2id). You are responsible for compliance with any laws in your jurisdiction governing the import, export, or use of cryptographic software. These tools are intended for legitimate security and privacy purposes only.

7. Tor Integration

Nexxus includes optional Tor network integration. When Tor is enabled, your traffic is routed through the Tor anonymity network. You accept full responsibility for your use of the Tor network and agree to comply with the Tor Project's terms and applicable law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Nexxus contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from your use of Nexxus, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with that law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the software evolves. Continued use of Nexxus after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
